Year 4 Weston Park Museum Visit

Year 4 had a fantastic time on their trip to Weston Park Museum. 

The children learnt lots of new and interesting facts about Ancient Egypt. 

During the workshop, museum staff were impressed by the children's thoughtful and inquisitive questions, as well as their interesting comments about Djedma'atiuesankh (a young Ancient Egyptian whose coffin is on display at the museum). Seeing the original 3,000 year-old bandages from a mummified person was truly a memorable experience.

The children also enjoyed exploring the other galleries in the museum.

Museum staff commented on how respectfully and sensibly our pupils conducted themselves.
